**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Assist in the effective implementation of the production plan within the company by conducting changeovers where necessary
- Communicate any process or machine issues to the Shift Management Team
- Maintain an adequate program of PPM across the site
- Work with day support to; inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Record maintenance or repair work on relevant documentation
- Ensure machines continue to run smoothly and systems operate efficiently
- Recommend to Shift Management Team improvements that may be required in respect of productivity and efficiency of site
- Maintain the working areas and workshop in a respectable and clean manner adopting good housekeeping procedures
- Collaborate working with all Operations Department and assist Engineers when required
- Flexible attitude with regards machinery to be worked on, normal hours of work & shift pattern
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required
- Complete all relevant documentation in an accurate and in a timely manner
- Ensure all systems are updated and completed accurately

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience of a production environment and ancillary equipment is desirable
- Good attendance and timekeeping
- Ability to multi-skill between electrical and mechanical tasks where trained or experienced.
- Good organisational and self-motivational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.35-£16.42 per hour
