Trainee Sheet Metal Worker

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of four heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

**Duties Include**:

- Carry out aircraft component sheet metal repairs
- Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
- Complete the appropriate documentation
- Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
- Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

**Experience and Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- A knowledge of aircraft sheet metal repair would be desirable
- Previous MRO component or A/C sheet metal experience would be an advantage
- HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering / mechanical is essential
- Background in engineering/maintenance is desirable
- Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential
- Must be willing to work shifts (including nights)
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment
