We are recruiting for a UX Apprentice to join our Experience Design team, working full-time at our Swindon offices located on key transport links in the town centre.

**Role context and purpose**:
To support BCS UX designers in carrying out UX & UI tasks within projects and business improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of Experience Design and the UX team in developing and implementing our UX strategy;
- Work with our UX team to create outstanding user experiences and journeys that truly differentiate BCS and drive us towards our strategic objectives;
- Ensure UX deliverables meet both project objectives and the identified needs of the user;
- Evaluate user needs, preferences and performance through methods such as usability testing, research and expert reviews; analyse and distil results into actionable forms (e.g. user requirements, experience maps, journey flows, task models etc);
**Person specification**:
**Education & Qualifications**
- Level 2 English & Maths;
- Level 3 qualification, this can be a combination of A-levels, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, HE Diplomas or the International Baccalaureate.

**Or**
- A related Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, or a significant amount of relevant work-based or professional experience.

**Experience**
- Experience of UX design would be advantageous.

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge and understanding of UX work methods, tools AND technologies.
