Part Time Front of House Team Member (Barista / Bartender)

We are a Coffee & Ale House in the heart of Aberdeen. At The Craftsman Company we do a small number of things, but we do them well, with care and pride. We curate a selection of artisan coffees, craft beers, and simple but wholesome dishes within a café culture environment, morning, or evening. The segregation of coffee and beer has been long-standing in our city, but The Craftsman has set out to reunite these long-lost-lovers in an atmosphere which is unique to our brand. This position is key in marrying these two worlds as we are on the lookout for part-time Front of House team members who will delve into the world of our coffee and ale house.

We're searching for imaginative, reliable and hard-working people to create delicious drinks for our customers. Our Front of House team members will be responsible or upholding The Craftsman Company brand and reputation using their great dexterity and skills to create something of unique value to our customers.
The Front of House team will have significant influence on our customers' happiness and satisfaction, and the development of uniquely artisan experience of The Craftsman Company.

It is essential that our team are personable, creative people, who love life, great coffee, are passionate about drinks and the presentation and integrity of our menu items.

Experience & Qualifications

Our Team Members will ideally have the following skills and experience:

- Barista/ Bartending Experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for Hospitality and providing excellent Customer Service.
- Have excellent communication skills and adaptability to an ever-changing environment due to the different challenges that may arise.
- Be focused on quality and ensuring that the products we provide are of a consistent high quality, and staff are thoroughly trained on the product knowledge.
- A contagious positive attitude with an always keep yourself busy ethos.
- A hunger to learn and progress.
