Principal Consultant

Vysus Group, a leading provider of high-value risk management services, is seeking a principal consultant to join our UK team as part of our growing global organisation.

Our core expertise is in the management of major accident hazards - particularly in the Oil & Gas and onshore process sectors. In response to the energy transition, we are also increasingly working with clients in the Renewables/power industries. Successful applicants will provide support to a range of clients and sectors both within the UK and internationally.

**The role**:
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of proposals, submissions and tenders
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new or existing clients
- Monitoring and management of safety studies
- Compilation of comprehensive, well written client reports

Typical technical tasks include:

- Facilitation of qualitative risk analysis workshops (for example, HAZID)
- Consequence modelling (PHAST / SAFETI etc.)
- Fire safety analyses
- Quantitative risk analysis (QRA)
- Development of safety cases (onshore and/or offshore)

Experience in the following areas would also be advantageous:

- Facilitation of HAZOP workshops
- SIL Studies (determination, verification, FSAs, etc.)

**Our requirements**:

- A degree or a higher-level qualification in engineering, maths or science
- Demonstrable experience in the field of risk management consultancy and technical safety (onshore and/or offshore), including management of project deliverables, budgets and client relationships
- A minimum of 10 years in a relevant industry
- Strong spoken and written English language skills
- Strong Excel skills
