We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to become a valued part of our nursery team.

Set in an idyllic location in the pretty village of Findern, The Old Forge is a an OUTSTANDING award winning nursery. Winning Kids Cooking and Nutrition Education at last years NMT awards

The nursery is always busy with 100 children in attendance daily from 0-4 years. The kitchen assistant position is an extremely valued role within the nursery, and you will be required to be very organised and able to communicate with staff and management.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the kitchen with pot washing and basic food preparation
- Laundry duties
- Helping to serve meals to children of different ages
- Awareness of and ability to understand guidelines around food allergies and intolerances
- Assisting to ensure the nursery environment is always clean and tidy
- Must have a high standard of cleanliness

Hours for this role are Mon to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm

This role is dependent on an enhanced DBS disclosure.
