Machine Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well known **Engineering Company** in their search for **a Machine Operative** to work in their leading facility in **Lytham.**

**For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering**:

- £11.66 - £12.50 per hour (DOE)
- Mon to Thurs 7am - 4:30pm
- Temp to Perm
- 4 day week
- Opportunity to go permanent in a growing business

**The role - Machine Operative**:

- Maintain high-quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products
- Operation of belt linishers and pedestal polishers
- Proactive communication with supervisors, managers, and quality control regarding production, quality, and H&S issues
- Operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment
- Meet hourly production targets

**What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative**:

- Understanding of basic IT (**ESSENTIAL**)
- Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities (**ESSENTIAL**)
- Previous experience in a similar role i.e belt grinding, linishing (**ESSENTIAL**)
- Experience in metal finishing (**BENEFICIAL**)
