**What we'll need you to bring**:

- SVQII in healthcare or working towards, or equivalent experience working in a caring environment/role.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.

**It would be great if you also have**:

- SVQ, NVQ or associated health related study or working towards or willing to undertake SVQ training
- Evidence of training in Infection control and Prevention
- Evidence of recent study
- Current experience as a nursing assistant in a health care setting
- Experience in acute hospital environment preferably in medical wards or coronary care environment
- Experience in assisting with the patient admission, observation and discharge process
- Knowledge of Scottish Patient Safety programme and quality indicators
- Calm when under pressure
- Caring, compassionate and approachable
- Enthusiastic and motivated
