Furniture Designer

Importas Ltd are an Importer of Beds and Furniture. We work with and supply most of the best National Retailers in the UK. We want to find a dynamic & passionate Designer to work on new product development
for the UK market. Our office is by the sea in Teignmouth Devon - working here couldn't be better

Your responsibilities would be
- Trend researching, idea creation and mood board presentation
- Design & Development through sketching and CAD modelling and rendering
- Designing products that are highly commercial, and designed for volume sales
- Creating final visuals for both in house and customer presentation
- Detail & technical drawings that will find their way to the factory floor, and our end users.

Your skills would be
- Degree level in design, preferably Furniture
- High level of creativity and visual communication skills
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D SolidWorks or similar
- Some knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Huge attention to detail, and meticulous working practices
- Knowledge of Photoshop would be great
- Confident, Enthusiastic, Articulate, Creative, and nice to work with

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
