Our Little Learners Nursery, part of Kindred Nurseries, are looking for an enthusiastic **Nursery Administrator** **(40 hours per week)** to join a growing and dedicated team. **Responsibilities**:
The purpose of this role is to support the nursery management team in ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and quality in administration and support for the nursery, parents and children.
- Prepare children’s weekly registers and nappy sheets where needed.
- Prepare signing-in/out sheet each week for staff/agency and mobile phones.
- Ensure all children’s files are up to date and details, such as carer information are input on to the system.
- Input all registration information for new children on to system
- Send out offer letters when child's place has been confirmed.
- Set up files and new starters checklist for each child
- Complete monthly accident statistics and provide managers with trends identified in each room.
- Updating the maintenance schedule.
- Chase up invoice payments after due date, inform managers when letters need to be sent.
- Answer phone calls, solving queries wherever possible.
- Sending the milk order and helping with the food shopping.
- Collect staff weekly shift sheets and keep records of staff overtime.
- Collect registers each week, ensure all children are signed in/out and file accordingly and updated on system adding all extra sessions.
- Make up prospectus and welcome brochures.
- Updating the enquiries, visits and registrations log.
- Collating new starter information and uploading the HR system, creating employee files.
- Ensuring recruitment packs are ready for any interviews.
- Updating Breathe with holiday requests/changes
- General filing.
- Ad hoc cover in the class rooms.
- Any other ad hoc administration and coordination duties as requested by the manager.

**What you need**
- Experience of working in Childcare is advantageous but not essential.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, IT skills.
- Excellent organisational ability with an attention to detail is paramount.
- Strong communication skills at all levels both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and Data Protection.
- Level 3 in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
