12-month fixed term contract

Salary - £30,800 + competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus

About the role

As a Day Operator you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our maltings. You’ll work safely within the operational team, ensuring that you are delivering collective performance. Develop operational, improvement, and maintenance skills to support operations. Be accountable for delivery of effective communications to team members that works across shifts.

Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including quality, efficiency, energy management, planning and cost efficiency.

This role will cover a 5-day rota across day shift, providing on-site support to the maltings.

We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems

You’ll make this role your own. We want you to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. Both roles present a great opportunity to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and showcase your excellent communication skills.

It’d be beneficial if you had a General Certificate in Distilling or a Degree in associated sciences along with your high school grades however this is not essential.
