**Purpose**: Support all aspects of ESG Group’s QHSE requirements, particularly with regards to manufacturing processes and support functions to ensure all QHSE processes and supporting documentation is compliant with the Company’s third-party standards and accreditations (ISO 9001, 14001, Kite Mark, Warrington Fire and LPS 1270) as well as all legal regulations and requirements.

**Main Duties**:

- Support the MD, Operations Director/ QHSE Manager in promoting the Company’s strategy to drive improvement’s in QHSE documentation, performance, and culture throughout ESG.
- Assist the management team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company.
- Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements
- Support the development/implementation of QHSE and manufacturing documents.
- Communicate to personnel are fully aware of all relevant QHSE policies, manuals, work instructions, risk assessments and supporting documents.
- Undertake all employee and contractor inductions.
- Act as a support for management of and liaison with QHSE auditors to acquire/maintain Company’s accreditations.
- Conduct QHSE audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements.
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control etc.
- Review QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its accreditations (ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, LPS 1270, etc. Support the Operations Director & QHSE manager on any accident/ incident investigation.
- Maintain auditable Company/ QHSE records in accordance with 9001:2015 standard.
- Support the QHSE manager in developing the Company’s new Business Management System (BMS).
- Participates in QHSE meetings with the view to raise & discuss HSE concerns, and record manage actions.
- Maintain the Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) database to ensure all identified corrective actions and improvements to systems or process are effectively implemented and closed out
- Collate and report all incidents/accidents, near-miss incidents, and safety interventions/observations to update the company safety performance register.
- Any other reasonable request from time to time

**Key Focus Areas**
- Review all QHSE and manufacturing documents, with a view to concise and update
- Review and update Company KPI’s in line with third party accreditations and QHSE standards to identify areas for improvement and suggest future objectives.
- Conduct Internal audits to the relevant Company procedure/ third-party standard.
- Generate and maintain audit schedules, KPI’s and monitor the timely closure of Non-Compliances / Observations identified

**Experience / Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH general; certificate/ IOSH managing safely/ Internal auditor for ISO 9001 (as a minimum)
- Manufacturing knowledge and best industry practice
- Highly articulate with good influencing skills and an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, within ESG
- Excellent communication skills and have the ability to develop long term relationships.
- Able to be independent whilst maintaining credibility to achieve the requirements of the position.
- IT. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
