Overview:
**Accounts Administrator**
- Based within our Strata Solicitors in Northamptonshire, you will be reporting directly to the Accounts Manager. Your role will be assist in the day to day running of all client and office related financial matters of SSL._

**Responsibilities**:

- Completion of all types of financial transactions and billing for client related matters, ensuring that all such transactions comply with The SRA Accounts Rules 2011 including but not limited to: daily processing of receipts, payments, bank transfers, journals and bills.
- Assist in the proper and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts, both client and office.
- Assist in the dealing of all administrative duties such as the opening of new matters and the closure of finalised matters on SSL’s accounting system, whilst ensuring that all SSL’s quality and other procedures are complied with in respect of those matters.
- Ensure that all financial documents, vouchers and any other financial records are properly filed and kept secure.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all SSL’s and clients’ documentation/information.
- Carry out any other duties that are in keeping with the role.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work under pressure/use initiative and make effective decisions/prioritisation/work to deadlines.
- Accurate Data Input Skills.
- Knowledge of IT and MS Word and MS Excel.
- Experience as a Legal Cashier in a Solicitor’s Accounts Team.
- Fully conversant with the SRA Accounts Rules 2011 and understand how these operate.
