HR Advisor (Employee Relations)

Tide Recruitment are excited to be working with a Healthcare provider who are on the search for a new Human Resources Advisor to join the HR department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate care company, who are driven to provide an excellent service to both their service users and employees.

As the HR Advisor, your job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Providing support to the ER Manager in all matters relating to employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, change management, capability, performance management, absence management, and all matters pertaining to employee terms and conditions.
- Provide line managers with advice on employment law matters, especially in relation to employee relations and employment contracts.
- Providing support and advice to departmental colleagues on all HR-related matters.
- As part of this role, you will make recommendations, provide advice and support to managers, work with Occupational Health, support disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, and consult on change processes.
- As well as supporting the development and maintenance of a performance management framework. This includes developing managers’ skills in this area, leading on capability-related casework, and advising and guiding managers through the relevant policies.
- Advise and support departmental colleagues in all HR-related matters.

- Supporting managers by developing their skills in performance management, leading on capability-related casework and guiding managers through any policy queries.
- Responsible for managing employee relations cases surrounding disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures and change process consultations.

Essential Job Criteria
- Experience managing own employee relations caseload, with some experience ideally with complex cases
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build effective working relationships
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Provision of guidance and advice to front line managers.
- Involvement in reviewing HR Policies.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Desirable Job Criteria
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
- Desirably gained in the healthcare sector
