Materials Buyer

A highly successful main contractor who have been around for 50+ years with a portfolio of New Build schemes are looking for an proactive Materials Buyer to join their North London based team.

**The Materials Buyer's role**

The Materials Buyer will be expected to showcase their previous experience with a Main Contractor or contracting background to get quotes, follow company processes when placing material orders and follow instructions for purchase from site managers.

The Buyer will report to the Commercial Manager in the North London office and will be required to bring a proactive approach to their work and will be directly involved in some large new-build residential projects in the upcoming pipeline.

**The Materials Buyer**
- Previous experience with a Main Contractor / Contracting background essential
- Experience within the Residential New Build sector preferable
- Experience liaising with internal stakeholders (Site Managers, Commercial Managers, etc)
- Full valid UK driving license
