Our client in Warrington is looking for a Transport coordinator to join their team on a Temp to perm basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure that all customer orders are processed by the delivery date and passed into the warehouse timely manner.
- Ensure all stock issues are reported back to the internal sales team.
- To ensure that the internal and external sales teams have attached the correct transport provider & per delivery.
- To liaise with the Finishing Centre Manager to ensure that stock movements between both sites are wit agreed time-scales.
- Coordinate and control the returns process on a daily basis also liaise with the Goods In foreman rewarding returns.
- Coordinate dedicated deliveries to 3% party manufacturing sites and customer addresses when required To input customer orders on the 3PL transport systems.
- Ensure services are provided to the required standard.
- To ensure that the best possible use is made of company transport resources.
- Establish claims with the 31d party haulers when required.
- Booking all deliveries in & controlling time slots for deliveries.
- Maintain regular contact with customers, sales and 3PL company to resolve any problems.
- Continually look for ways to improve service levels and efficiency.
- Provide advice to Managers and staff on transport related issues.
- General clerical and administrative tasks including maintaining spreadsheets for KPI data capture
- Answering the phone and taking messages whilst always giving excellent customer service.

Training & Compliance:

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as instructed
- Carry out all training provided to deadlines prescribed
- Execute the responsibilities of a company employee acting in a lawful and ethical manner in accordance with your contract of employment and company staff handbook.
- Work with Line Manager to manage own professional development, including performance appraisal and identifying and meeting training needs to ensure competence and compliance
- Must have excel experience and good clear telephone manner.

Hours and days: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Pay: £22-25k pa (Depending on Experience)
