A successful and dynamic group of companies based in Luton are looking for an enthusiastic Management or Financial Accountant to join their friendly team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role is packed with variety through its exposure to different business operations and includes the following key responsibilities:

- Production of management accounts
- Daily treasury management
- Statutory accounts and working with external auditors
- UK VAT return submissions
- Working with external VAT agents for EU VAT submissions
- Payroll reporting and management
- Fixed asset and Intercompany reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Production of management reports
- Company credit card reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of commercial invoices for international shipments
- Supplier payments
- Training and development of Accounts staff
- Solid technical ability
- Strong IT skills
- Friendly and approachable
- Driven, determined and self-motivated
- Experience in a commercial environment

Further desirable attributes include:

- Experience using MS Dynamics Navision
- Advanced IT skills (incl Excel, Power Query and SQL queries)
- Knowledge of international shipping and VAT rules
