Insurance Surveyor

We are recruiting for an experienced Insurance Claims Surveyor to join our team based in Ripley, Derbyshire.

We are a well established construction company who specialises in insurance claim repairs to residential properties. Our works are all based in the East Midlands, with the majority throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The position includes surveying, validating and scoping insurance claims projects, utilising software systems including Symbility, Xactware and Blueprint.

You will need experience of working within the insurance industry, and ideally have a good working knowledge of Symbility & Xactware (or similar client portal/scoping tools). We require you to have a thorough understanding of the property insurance claims process, experience in accurately assessing damage, and repairs needed, and producing a scope of works.

You will be working on a caseload of insurance claims through different loss adjusters/insurance companies, surveying, estimating repairs works and providing the scope of works. You will also be liaising with other team members in the management of the repair works, providing instructions and support to tradesmen undertaking the works, discussing variations where necessary, checking progress of works and carrying out site checks, and keeping policyholders and clients updated throughout the lifecycle of the claim.

We can offer you an annual salary of circa £35,000 dependant on experience, company pension, company vehicle and mobile phone.
