**Conveyancing Paralegal - Darlington**

A highly respected law firm offering legal and property services to both private and commercial clients across County Durham, Tees Valley and North Yorkshire and have been established over 70 years, is seeking to hire fee earner or experienced paralegal to join their busy conveyancing department.

You’ll be working in the firm’s office based in the heart of Darlington, within a friendly and supportive department that currently consists of two full time fee earners and two conveyancing secretaries

**Duties**
- Advise, assist and represent clients or the firm, always acting in accordance with the proper professional standards
- Always observing the Professional Rules of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority
- Have responsibility for such caseload of work previously agreed and to act efficiently and effectively in respect of such caseload
- Always ensure that you have the necessary knowledge of the area or areas of law in which you are engaged so as to attain proper professional standards
- Keep up to date with developments in the area or areas of law by reading appropriately and attending such training course as shall be approved by the Partners

**You**
- Familiar with the conveyancing process from start to finish
- Experienced in dealing with sales and purchases of freehold, leasehold and new build properties
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Law Degree would be desirable but not essential

**On Offer**
- Annual salary up to £25,000 DOE
- 20 days plus bank holidays. In addition, 3 bonus days are generally granted over the Christmas period
