Job Title: Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Location: Rendlesham

Job Summary: As Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant it is your responsibility to ensure that all purchased items are recorded accurately & timely to enable accounts production & payment to suppliers within required timescales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Print, collate, check, code & post invoices into Pegasus Opera accounting system.
- Liaise with purchasing & goods inward departments regarding factory invoices.
- Liaise with service department regarding service & subcontractor invoices.
- Check & reconcile supplier statements
- Deal with supplier queries.
- Scan & file invoices & supporting documents into electronic filing cabinet.
- Process credit card expenses.
- Maintain Shell Fuel card account.
- Credit control of some service department sales ledger debts.
- Other adhoc duties as required.
