QA Coordinator

Harrogate, up to £28k, own vehicle essential, flexible and home working available,

Excellent opportunity for someone with experience in quality capacity within food manufacturing or a food science graduate with placement experience to gain further experience in a compliance capacity for a growing business.

**QA Coordinator role includes**:

- Quality systems Management
- Document control, ensuring correct paperwork is filed, recorded and monitored in line with the QM system
- Ensuring all raw materials meet required standards and suppliers are approved
- Writing and maintaining product specifications
- Managing the microbiology testing function, ensuring all products and samples are dispatched and results are logged, monitored and any problems actioned.
- Logging and actioning customer complaints, resolving where possible or escalating to the QM
- Manage the training matrix, ensuring all up to date information, in conjunction with the QA and the HR Team to ensure all staff are trained to the correct level.
- Checking, scanning and filing of all completed production paperwork
- Support in completion of paperwork for export as required.
- Oversee traceability exercises and completion of associated paperwork

**As the QA Coordinator you will**:

- Ideally come from a QA background in food manufacturing and / or hold a food science certificate
- Be a confident communicator able to investigate and gather information from production teams
- Have good analytical skills, be able to identify anomalies and have excellent attention to detail
- Be process driven, a good administrator and organiser of data
- Hold HACCAP and Food Safety qualification
- Have either placement or worked experience in food manufacturing
- Have confident knowledge of Food safety and QA practices
