✨ A payrate of £11.44ph, this full-time position **(42 hours/week, 4 on 4 off ) **offers more than just a job. As the Security Supervisor **, **you'll be the key player in overseeing operational security, ensuring command, control, communication, coordination our site.

To adopt a flexible approach to pro-actively manage the Securitas Stena Line Contract to ensure the compliant and efficient delivery of the operation across the Port at Holyhead. To ensure all positions are filled and carried out to ISPS Standard in order to meet out contractual obligations. To ensure there are sufficient officers ISPS trained to staff the contract at all times.. To ensure the accurate rostering of all officers - ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, absence ensuring management levels agreed are attained at all times. To proactively manage all Staff, absenteeism, conduct and performance issues. To provide cover for the on-call roster responding to any missed book on/missed check calls/absenteeism using the management escalation procedure to report any problems. To develop a meaningful working partnership with Stena management and Staff in order to enhance Securitas’ reputation at all times.
- To carry out all operational and administrative duties in connection with the Stena Contract.
- Assisting in the development of the team through continuous assessment, training, support and management of staff. To be the first point of contact for security personnel queries.
- To deal with all HR issues which may arise within the team. Carry out return to work interviews with every officer, for every period of absence
- To monitor attendance and sickness levels, and report trends.
- To update Assignment Instructions, site documentation, and Health & Safety Risk Assessment, and ensure ISPS records are maintained to Department for Transport & Customer-required standards.
- To assist with recruitment ensuring that staffing levels meet the agreed service levels and that all recruitment is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure that ISPS training courses are arranged to meet service level agreements when required.
- To assist in all security and emergency drills when required and keep records of all drills.
- Ensure all personnel have undertaken the appropriate training and have been issued with an SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements.
- To provide administrative support for the appraisal and grievance procedures.
- Carry out disciplinary investigations if and when required.
- Ensure that all rostering is accurate in order to ensure no pay queries, and no dropped shifts. Assist in the management of all direct and indirect costs to ensure these match the requirements for the effective operational running of the contract.
- Ensure accuracy of all operational data; and regularly review and report on progress, highlighting any risk of significant variances as they arise, taking action where needed
- To ensure all Securitas health and safety policy is strictly adhered to.
- Attend meetings on behalf of Securitas as required by Securitas and Stena Line and represent the company appropriately at those meetings. Conduct monthly welfare visit meetings with each staff member.
- Complete quarterly employee 1-2-1 meetings with all team members.
- To carry out initial and refresher training with all site staff to ensure site compliance with Customer and regulation requirements.
- To assist with on-site frontline Operations as required. Attend and assist with any DfT inspections or audits and comply with any requirements of inspectors/auditors.
- To help build, develop, lead and retain a team of Officers and Team Leaders that believe and demonstrate through their work that Securitas is different to other Security service providers through: Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance and Helpfulness
- To assist with adequate and appropriate training, and ensure that any necessary advice and support is provided to make the team successful. Active steps to maintain communication; recognize achievement and develop the Securitas Community
- To be aware of, and (with the assistance of support functions) ensure all staff and officers in the Branch comply with, all aspects of Securitas Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements; and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.
- **Maritime and/or Security experience. Supervisory/Managerial experience (Min 3 months)**:

- Valid SIA licence
- Provide 5 year checkable work history including any gaps and unemployment
- Good communication skills.
- Experience of managing within a controlled environment.
