**Part Time Credit Controller**

**30 hours per week - Monday to Friday**

AEC is currently looking to hire a Credit Controller to join our experienced Head Office team.

**Overview**

The key focus for the Credit Controller will be to reduce outstanding credit and resolve aged debt in a timely and professional manner.

As a Credit Controller, you will have responsibility for chasing payments, attending aged debt meetings, aged debt processing and processing of expenses.

To be successful in this role you will thrive in a face paced and busy environment in which you will be responsible for processing high volume and high-value invoices.

**Responsibilities**
- Making collection calls, maintaining a professional approach at all times
- Resolve account disputes to minimise aged debt and improve the customer experience
- Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
- Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
- Working as part of the team to ensure collection and query targets are met
- Maintain accurate records for all account activity
- Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances
- Processing of expenses

**Skill Set**
- Experience working in a high volume credit control environment and possess a basic knowledge of credit risk assessment and legal debt recovery procedures
- Credit Control experience working with Xero software
- Confident user of Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work to monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pick up other ad hoc admin duties as and when required
- Great attention to detail
- Great organization skills
- you must be able to manage your own workload and multitask
- A methodical worker with strong attention to detail
