**Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant**

I am working with some fantastic schools around the Newbury area who have an intake of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and often require extra support in the form of 1:1 or small group sessions. If you have past experience working within SEN and are looking for a new role then I would love to hear from you

**What the role will include**:

- Getting the classroom ready for lessons
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Working with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- Providing support to the lead teacher in classroom instruction and management
- Assisting with classroom activities and lessons

**Working with Long-term Teachers**:
We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £82.00-£97.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Classroom: 1 year (preferred)
- Special education: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Newbury (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Newbury: Relocate before starting work (required)
