The Governors and Headteacher of this successful and popular school are seeking to appoint an excellent and caring Learning Support Assistant to support an indvidual with additional needs in Lower Key Stage 2.

**Job Salary**:1B Scale 7-10 (pro rata) depending upon experience

The school is also an Initial Teacher Training School working in partnership with the Astra SCITT.

**About the role**:
Our school is looking to appoint a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support an individual pupil's learning in the classroom with a starting date asap.

The position is full time, 5 days per week during term time (8:45am - 3:30pm) and includes a lunchtime supervision.

An ability and willingness to teach small groups of students and to support their English and Mathematics skills and individual development is essential.

**About you**:
We are looking for a caring and patient individual who is positive and proactive to join our supportive team. Somebody who is prepared to take the time to get to know a child and really understand their strengths and areas for development. Somebody who is creative and can adapt resources to suit an individual child's needs.

We wish to employ an inspiring, thoughtful individual who is both creative and passionate about learning. An individual who is able to use their initiative and who enjoys working collaboratively as a team. A good level of English and Maths Skills is essential.

Experience working with children with additional needs would be beneficial but is not essential.
