**Responsibilities & Duties**

About the Role

As a Picker/Production Operative, you will be responsible for picking parts/materials for works orders and assisting in the preparation of materials for either painting or welding. This will include operating machinery and using numerous power and hand tools.

**Duties will include**:

- Picking of rainwater products for orders
- Working to daily picking lists in preparation for collation
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Take ownership of stock tidiness ensuring no trip hazards
- Setting and using a cleaning machine for bends, training will be given
- Use of hand tools such as grinders and orbitals
- Cleaning of saw room and maintenance of all machines in the saw room
- Swaging of parts to complete products
- Drilling and deburring

**About you**:

- Attention to detail with excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
- Strong work ethic
- This person must work well as part of a team as well as on their own
- Be physically capable of the expected workload
- Ability to adapt and solve issues
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be hard working, tidy and have a keen eye for detail
- Good time keeping and reliability are imperative
- Must be used to working within a fast-paced environment
- Forklift licence (Desirable)
- Preferably working in a similar environment
- It is important that this person is good at prioritising and order work to suit people working around them
- This person must be focussed as machinery can be dangerous if not used properly
- It is essential that this person is a tidy work ethic as their working area will be used by numerous people and must be fully accessible
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Ideally with knowledge of the product

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour
