Liquid Blending Operative

Experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of the principles of blending and the related processes and understanding of the principles of Lean Manufacturing would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the blending process of raw materials to ensure the production of a consistent quality product
- Process ingredients according to the specific formulation
- Development opportunity to learn to operate machines to blend/mix ingredients
- Conduct in-process analysis as needed
- Ensure health and safety protocols, as well as GMP standards, are adhered to
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures
- Record operational and production data accurately and timely
- Clean and maintain equipment, hoses, vessels etcused for the blending process
- Offload, move and dispense materials and/or liquid as necessary
- Monitor production and equipment to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation
- Assist in identifying and recommending solutions to overcome issues arising to meet production requirements and address operational risk
- Assist in monitoring quality standards of production
- To carry out all reasonable instructions as directed by the Operations Manager

Hours of work will be 0750-1650 Mon-Thurs, 0750-1250 Fri. The role may develop into slightly altered hours to suit cleaning and production times.

Pay starting at £11 per hour rising once trained.
