Our innovative and successful Client is looking for a National Key Account Manager where you will be part of the team helping to grow a profitable and sustainable company. You will be responsible for delivering commercial targets for your account portfolio
- turnover, product mix and gross margin level. This role is covering the UK, and ideally you will be located around the Midlands, North West. The role will be 90% field based.

**Key Areas of Responsibility for the National Key Account Manager**
- Implement commercially assessed tactical and strategic account plans to grow the profitability of the business.
- Develop and facilitate strong key stakeholder relationships with a wide range of key with particular focus on new products and added value propositions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all internal departments to ensure that maximum efficiencies are achieved and excellent communication is established
- Develop a qualified pipeline of new customers to secure and grow
- Develop relationships with sales team and senior stakeholders within your key accounts.
- Review and produce monthly commentary and rationale for key performance statistics in line with sales meetings/on request
- Participate as a key member of the Key Accounts decision-making team, taking on and delivering 'team' projects

**Required skills, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies required**
- Solid track record in managing national accounts in a competitive sector
- Experience of leading a team by empowerment and developed capability
- Ideally from a construction, engineering, or similar sector
- Excellent communicator, able to encourage and skilfully influence others to gain buy-in
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills
