**Position: Quality Inspector**

**Location: Knowsley**

**Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 & 10pm-6am**

**Salary: £26,000- £28,000p/a + Shift Allowance**

You will ensure conformity of parts prior delivery, internal and external, by measuring sample against master production drawings. In addition to conformity of parts from external process against internal specification requirements you will

check and validate certification.

The Role:
- Follow relevant department process, policies and follow necessary operational procedures and instruction in order for work to be carried out in a controlled manner.- Receive parts from production measuring sample against master production drawings.- Identify part has passed with relevant label or ticket and update the system.- If the part has failed fill in the non-conformity ticket and place in the appropriate area and inform supervisor.- On receipt of parts unsure required documentation is available (C&C test certification).- Undertake visual inspection as stated on the inspection card.- If passed identify the next internal process.- If failed highlight immediately to a supervisor.

Experience Desirable- Understanding of technical drawings.- Proficient use of measuring equipment.- Knowledge of basic quality requirements.- Computer literate.- Excellent attention to detail.- Good communication both written and verbal.
