Metal Roofing

**The job will require you to**:

- Have a minimum of 5-10 years designing, detailing & drawing twin-skin/built-up metal roofing and cladding systems for the commercial market, along with aluminium rainscreen cladding systems
- Learn and understand the fundamental design principals of our proprietary roofing & cladding systems
- Adapt our existing proprietary systems to meet project specific requirements
- Have a depth of knowledge when designing & detailing different types of metals, including aluminium and steel
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings for factory production from customer drawings
- Be able to think outside-the-box in providing solutions
- Produce thermal and acoustic system calculations (training provided)
- Liaise with customers and respond to inbound technical queries
- Maintain and use a large library of existing system details
- Be highly proficient in CAD, Excel, Word & Outlook
- Experience with TRISCO software preferable but not essential
- Have an attention to detail and excellent time keeping
- Work to tight deadlines
- Work alone or as part of a team, reporting to either a director or the technical manager
- You will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus scheme

Standard working hours Monday to Friday 900am to 530pm (or equivalent) in an office-based role, including a one hour paid break

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
