**Credit Risk Senior Analyst - Edinburgh**

Change Recruitment Group are working with a highly successful bank on the search for an experienced Credit Risk Forecasting and Stress Testing Analyst to join their team. You will support the delivery and improvement of impairment and collections forecastsand impairment stress tests. This will involve analysing account level data to understand portfolio performance which will inform long term impairment forecasts. As well helping to shape what the banks forecasting looks like going forward.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the development and delivery of impairment and collections forecasts for the lending portfolios
- Engaging closely with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Finance, Analytics and Commercial to reflect portfolio and IFRS 9 dynamics and help gather requirements for ongoing monitoring and reporting
- Produce high quality, accurate and insightful analysis into forecasts and key metrics
- Support with ongoing review, monitoring, and maintenance of Forecasting Models and assumptions, in line with Model Risk Policy requirements
- Working positively and constructively with a wide range of stakeholders, including teams within Credit Risk, Second Line Risk, Credit Risk Modelling, Commercial and Finance

**Key skills and experience required**:

- Strong experience within a credit risk or similar financial services function
- Proven modelling or analytical skillset
- Proficient in data extraction, manipulation and analysis using SAS programming and MS Excel to deliver model improvements and insights
- Effective communications skills, with an ability explain and deliver insights and recommendations
- Awareness of Credit Risk, IFRS 9 regulations
