**Job Title**: HR Advisor

**Department**: Business Services

**Reports to**: CEO

**Role Description**: The HR Advisor is responsible for leading the HR department. Driving people management strategies and ensuring that human resources initiatives are implemented effectively and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the alignment of the people strategy with business strategy.
- Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & wellbeing activities, maximising productivity and building leadership capability.
- Execute a plan for diversity equality and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
- Develop creative practices and policies that identify, source, assess and hire the best talent to meet current and future business needs.
- Execute the recruitment strategy effectively ensuring the right talent is ready at the right time and influence the end-to-end recruitment process to provide direction on talent needs.
- Drive employee engagement in working with executive leadership to develop internal communication strategies, processes, tools and training to improve morale and promote productivity.
- Execute talent management programmes including performance management, learning and development and total reward.
- Develop and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Produce metrics to allow for better management of teams.
- Develop, coach and advise on a wide range of core people functions including organisation design, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, legislation including UK employment law, data protection, equality act and health & safety.
- Planning HR activities.
- Manage, develop and promote the company’s QMS system.
- Management of ad-hoc projects.

**Job Specification**:

- Excellent knowledge of HR practices
- CIPD qualification preferred
- Degree preferred not essential
- Experience in HR administration role
- Good knowledge and understanding of UK employment law
- The ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures and legislation including data protection, the Equality Act and Health and Safety
- Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and ability to use company and HR packages competently
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive and agile work ethic
- Ability to deal with change
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
