An opportunity has arisen to work within the private practice for one of the country's leading Cardiologists and "Doctor of the Year 2004". In addition to his NHS and private clinics at a number of locations including Harley Street and Cromwell Hospital, he is the co-founder of one of the largest on-going medical studies in the UK leading to key developments within the cardiology field.

Working as part of a small team, the successful applicant will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and have strong administrative skills to help maintain excellent patient care within the private practice. Applicants must be able to multi-task, speak fluent English, competently use Microsoft Outlook/Word and have a fantastic phone manner.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Distributing all medical reports and correspondence to the relevant hospitals and practices.
- Book appointments in accordance with consultant and patient requirements using our practice manager DGL & Ultragenda.
- Deal with enquiries from patients, consultant, and other medical professionals.
- Book appointments and prepare clinic lists.
- Update patient records, including chasing test results.
- Scan medical documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure all correspondence is presented in a professional manner.
- To perform such duties consistent with the position which may from time to time be assigned to you.
- Ensure a commitment to your own development through effective use of the company’s appraisal scheme and staff development processes.
- This role is for someone who enjoys involvement and is keen to learn all about the practice and its patients.
- To undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and professionally of the phone and face to face
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Proven organisational, planning, and controlling skills

**Please note** **The applicant should preferably have experience with DGL Practice Manager and/or Ultragenda**

Salary negotiable and dependent on experience.
- This is not a patient facing/front of house position however, a professional phone manner is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
