Planner/Document Controller for Open-Cycle Gas Turbine (OGCT) Project

**Company Overview**: Our Client is a leading engineering and construction firm specialising in sustainable energy solutions. We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planner/Document Controller to join our dynamic team for an exciting Open-Cycle Gas Turbine (OGCT) project. As a Planner/Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient project planning, coordination, and document management to support the successful delivery of the OGCT project.

**Position**: Planner/Document Controller

**Salary**: Negotiable

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning**:

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop detailed project schedules and timelines for the OGCT project.
- Identify critical milestones, key deliverables, and potential risks to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor and update project schedules regularly, ensuring alignment with project goals and adjusting timelines as necessary.

**Resource Management**:

- Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, based on project needs.
- Track resource utilisation and communicate any potential resource constraints to project stakeholders.

**Document Control**:

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system to manage project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure proper version control and distribution of documents to relevant project team members and stakeholders.
- Facilitate document review processes and maintain accurate records of approvals and revisions.

**Change Management**:

- Assist in managing project changes by updating schedules, resource allocations, and documentation as required.
- Ensure all changes are properly documented, communicated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.

**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks to project completion.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in project performance.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement quality control measures for project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

**Collaboration**:

- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders to facilitate smooth information flow.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project planning, document control, or a related role in engineering or construction projects.
- Familiarity with Open-Cycle Gas Turbines (OGCT), Combined Cooling, Heat & Power (CCHP) or similar energy projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and document control tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
