**Factory Operative**:

- **Brief business background**:_
- We provide "Business 2 Business” small to high volume food industry sous vide cooked, chilled meat products. We are circa 9 years old._
- Supplying food service companies, Airlines, e-commerce businesses, speciality food retailers.. Our sous vide cooked products offer cost effective catering to our clients, without reducing kitchen staff’s creativity to transform each idea into menu dishes which delight customers and maintain their target GP requirements._

Previous food manufacturing experience/skills highly preferred, but not essential. Full training would be given.

As a small business all our products are hand crafted, therefore a high level of care and attention to detail is needed by the operative. A can do, aptitude and style is essential as a small team.

Location near to factory in Lopen is ideal.

Driving licence, a vehicle will be needed to get you to and from work, due to the location of factory.

Good communication, strong listening, personal hygienic skills and friendliness are all essential and key to our business harmony.

You must be able to work well on your own or as part of a very small team.

Likely to be working with 1 full time member of the team on a day-to-day basis so a pleasant outlook and easy to get along with personality/style is essential. Prima donna’s or disruptive influencing characters, need not apply.

Reporting director to Operations Director/owner.

**Role/Responsibilities**:
Excellent English skills essential.

General food production/assembly all by hand, processing, product/meat, bagging meat, mixing spices, unloading cooked meat products, labelling etc.

Must have a hard-working approach/work ethic.

Need to be physically fit as standing whilst working is required. There is a degree of manual lifting involved on a day-to-day basis.

This is not a sit at a conveyor belt type role. It’s a hand-crafted assembly process/on legs role.

**Benefits / Pay/ Hours**:
Salary £18 - £20k

Monday - Friday 07.45 -17.00

2 x 30-minute breaks per day

Occasional weekend (Sat) working, although this is very rare.

**Job Types**: Full-time

Pay: £17,550.00-£21,450.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- South Petherton, TA13 5JS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
