Responsibilities:

- Grinding and brewing coffee
- Taking client orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Heat and serve lunches for children in the centre.
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment
- Follow all health and safety statutory guidelines, including those set by Belfast city council environmental health.
- Using social media to promote and market the cafe
- To promote the Irish Language and inclusive ethos of Scoil na Fuiseoige within the Cafe services.

**Personnel Specification**

Scoil na Fuiseoige is looking for a person who is enthusiastic, hard working, has experience of working with in a cafe and a high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to learn.

**Essential Criteria**

**1. **A working knowledge of oral Irish.

**2. ** Food hygiene qualification or willingness to work towards it as training can be provided.

**3. **Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.

**4. **Demonstrable team working skills, with the ability to take the initiative and to work flexibly in order to deliver the service.

**5. **A commitment to the ethos of Scoil na Fuiseoige.

**Desirable Criteria**

**1.** Experience working in a cafe or related customer service based industry.

**2. **Confident use of social media

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
