Senior Economist

To succeed in this role, you must have quantitative ability, including to analyse, manipulate and interpret data, IT literacy, and numeracy skills.

**You will join our Strategic Sustainability Consulting** **department**

You will be part of Ramboll Management Consulting (RMC), one of the largest management consultancies in the Nordics, with a recognised heritage within the provision of sustainability leadership and guidance to both the public and private sectors. We have some 600 experts that equip businesses and societies for a sustainable future. We place a specific focus upon combining sustainability consulting insight with management consulting delivery to provide our clients with the holistic pathways and interconnected solutions to really deliver upon their ambitions with respect to sustainability transformation. Combining, for example, decarbonization insight with transformational expertise or assessing circular economy business models in tandem with materials analysis provides our clients with the confidence that they need to commit to a sustainable future.

Within RMC, Strategic Sustainability Consulting is a recently launched department for the UK. We work across all Ramboll markets to deliver innovative solutions to the most pressing sustainability problems. Our team of economists, engineers, and management consultants work together to deliver innovative and novel solutions to a wide range of clients across Europe and globally.

We provide our clients with access to the entire Ramboll business, one with a global knowledge base of 16,500 colleagues which gives us a sought-after edge in combining engineering and science with management consulting.

**Your key tasks and responsibilities will be**:

- Collaboration: working with members of the team and clients to deliver a range of projects and managing small projects or teams to deliver client requirements, in line with corporate policies
- Analysis: conduct and supervise socio-economic research, baseline data collection, research and interpretation; work with others to develop and communicate economic arguments.
- Client engagement: represent the team at client meetings and lead or support the development of client propositions to drive business growth
- Reporting & outputs: Writing reports, undertaking and checking calculations
- Delivery: working with others on preparation of proposals and work specifications and projects

**Key deliverables will be**:

- Guiding and supporting team members on bids, proposals, and projects
- Publishing at least one thought piece on sustainability advisory
- At least one presentation on sustainability advisory
- Growing internal and external network
