Freight Forwarder

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.30-17.30 (1 Hour unpaid lunch hour)

**The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for**:

- Customer Service / Communication.
- Creating and processing of multimodal shipments.
- Receive and generate Quotations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise closely with team members and colleagues to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Identify and communicate risks / issues proactively to Freight Forwarding Director and lead problem solving initiatives
- Ensure proper and timely reporting and communication
- Assist management in capturing agreed operational benefits (training, monitoring, providing support as required, etc.)

**The essential qualities required of the Freight Forwarder are**:

- Proven experience of being a ‘Nuts and bolts’ Freight Forwarder, All Modes - Road / Sea / Air Import and Export
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Pro-active communicator
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- Problem solving skills with a proactive approach
- High integrity, objectivity, and independency
- Team player with ability to work with cross-functional and cross cultural teams
