Senior Planner

This specialist aerospace manufacturer is looking to attract into their operations team an experienced Senior Planner, who will further improve supply chain operations for the site.

Within this newly created role, the successful Senior Planner will ensure that customer demand is lined with inventory balancing.

Typical responsibilities will be to:
- Monitor the schedule and progress of manufacturing resource.
- Check the status of materials, manufacturing and purchased components.
- Identify bottlenecks in operations and look to identify solutions to resolve.
- Provide clear and timely communications to customers, program managers and purchasing.
- Monitor and report standards deviation from actuals.
- Participate in continuous improvement of planning systems.

The successful Senior Planner will:
- Have planning experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Be customer focused.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have ERP/MRP experience.
