Finance Manager - Growing Organisation - Hybrid Working
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing SME based in County Durham. The Finance Manager will oversee the Finance function and will also make up part of the Senior Management Team and play a vital role in the strategic decisionmaking process. Both those current working as a Finance Manager and looking for a new challenge, or those who are looking to take a step up into a Finance Manager will be considered.
**The Role**
The Finance Manager's duties will include:
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions;
- Oversee our small finance department team
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;
- Research and analyse financial reports and market trends;
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making;
- Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
- Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings;
**The Person**
The requirements for the Finance Manager role are:
- At least 3 years of management accounting experience
- Ideally, some experience in a finance management position. However those looking to take a step up into management will be considered.
- Those who are qualified, part qualified and qualified by experience will be considered for this role
- Experience of working within an SME environment would be highly desirable
- A great team player with the drive to help build a high performing team
