**Shot blasting operator**

Due to our expansion, we currently have positions vacant for experienced shot blasters.

As a Blaster,

You will be responsible for shot blasting various metals and heavy fabrications as well as using shot blasting equipment using steel grit to clean various materials in an enclosed room. Turn equipment on and off and clean as required.

THE EXPERIENCE This role will suit someone who is physically active and who is able to work within a Heavy Engineering Environment or who has a long-term production experience.

Night shifts only, Monday - Friday: 6pm -6am

A HIGHLY EFFECTIVE BONUS according to your attendance and performance a couple of times during the year.

2 breaks paid and 1 unpaid.
The position is temporarily leading to a permanent contract.

**Salary**: £9.99-£10.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chester-le-Street: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
