**Himali Indian Restaurant is hiring for a Kitchen Assistant in Kilsyth.**

**Schedule**:Monday - Saturday 2 pm - 10 pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean, stock, and maintain all equipment in the kitchen
- Ensure that all prep work is completed before service is completed
- Ensure that all service work is completed before service is completed
- Prepare food for service (e.g., cutting, cooking, presentation)
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures and standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Maintain product quality by observing proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Work with a team to achieve team goals

**Qualifications**:
**1 year minimum in a similar role**
- Must be able to read and write English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check screening.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: Up to £8.00 per hour
