**Main purpose of the post**

To be responsible for and manage the Facilities Management Team that includes both Hard and Soft services such as cleaning, catering, contractors, grounds maintenance, critical systems (Personal attack Alarms, I.T Infrastructure), security, Health and Safety/building compliance within a secure setting and ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained. This will also include design, implementation and overseeing building projects, renovations and refurbishments to meet the required specifications of the Home.

You must have experience in managing staff, and identifying resources, skills and knowledge necessary to fulfil all statutory obligations associated with the delivery of the Facilities Services with particular emphasis Premises Management, Managing Catering Services and following Health Safety Guidelines.

Ideally you should have;
Post graduate qualification in Facilities Management Level 4

Health and Safety Qualifications i.e. IOSH and NEBOSH Certificates and Possess a Project management qualification.

Hillside Secure Children’s Home provides a high quality of care and education for up to 12 young people, aged 12-17 years, within three secure living homes.

We are looking for individuals who have energy, patience, flexibility and understanding. The post holders will contribute through a team approach to the effective and efficient running of the Hillside Secure Children’s Home.
