**Job Introduction**

As a Recycling Collection Vehicle (RCV) Operative you will undertake the collection of mixed waste recyclables (paper, bottles, cans etc) and general waste from commercial premises, ‘bring’ sites and doorstep collection rounds. You will safety and customer-focused to ensure that properties participating in the scheme are given an excellent and professional service.

**What you’ll do**:

- Collect recyclables, general and green waste from households, bring sites and commercial locations in your specified area, as part of a team
- Ensure paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date
- Support the Logistics Manager, RCV Training and Transport Supervisor and RCV Driver with the induction of new starters and the retraining/refreshing of knowledge for existing colleagues by sharing best practice and methods of working that align with the Company’s processes and procedures
- Be the ‘local expert’ on how the RCV tablets and Reaclear works, being the point of contact if teams have queries or issues
- Work with the vehicle driver to ensure that all properties on assigned routes are serviced efficiently and effectively, as per the collection schedule
- Ensure the yard areas are kept clean and tidy

**Requirements**:
No previous experience is required for this role and full training will be provided.
