**Based at 21 Owlet Road, Shipley, BD18 2LU**

The Medical Needs and Hospital Education Service provides education for all children of compulsory school age residing in the Bradford Local Authority area who cannot attend full time school due to health and medical needs. Our provision is based at Owlet Road in Shipley, Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary. We also provide an outreach service teaching children in the home and other suitable venues as well as online learning.

We also provide short term interim education and safeguarding for pupils with a wide range of special educational needs whilst a permanent appropriate educational provision is established.

We have a vacancy within this team and are looking for a HLTA with SEN experience to support high quality teaching and learning. A high level of knowledge, support and understanding of SEN is required. The majority of work will take place at Owlet Road and across Bradford Local Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service within Bradford Children’s Services, ensuring outstanding outcomes for some of Bradford’s most vulnerable children.
