**What you'll be doing**:

- Collaborates within their Scrum team and wider Software Engineering team to provide accurate estimates and ensure successful deliveries
- Produces high quality IT solutions and services against agreed designs and standards as well as find opportunities that can improve the efficiency of business processes and/or support business growth
- Build and maintain a high standard of code that is efficient, robust and at the appropriate level of complexity by analysing requirements and designing solutions that meet the needs of our customer
- Seek opportunities for automation and DevOps practices to optimise the delivery process
- Ensure the code built satisfies the requirements of the product team, whilst adhering to our standard patterns and practices using tools to deliver & maintain quality and appropriate documentation
- Takes ownership to investigate and resolve service functionality related issues when vital.

**What we're looking for**:

- A consistent record as a senior hands-on C#.Net/.Net Core developer
- Experience of building and consuming restful API's, and integrating to web services
- Experience of delivering software through Agile practices
- The ability to create testable code and be able to write unit tests to achieve a target code coverage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on understanding the underlying need and delivering a solution

The following would be advantageous:

- Experience with HTML and Javascript
- Experience developing in the cloud (AWS / Azure)
- Experience of DevOps tooling and methodologies (Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy)
- Knowledge of micro-services, containerization and message buses (Docker and RabbitMq in particular)
