**Adults Learning Disabilities - Supported Living Support Worker**
- Rates varying £10.25-£12+ _
- Paid PAYE - not under umbrella _
- Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. £11.50 + holiday pay_
- **Please note that we don't use umbrella companies so your holiday pay will be accrued as you work meaning no hidden fees or having to save money back for holiday/time off You have a whole year to use it and can use this however and how often you wish** _
Due to increased demand, Brook Street (BS) Social Care are recruiting Support Workers across various locations.
Your role will be supporting individuals with a range of disabilities and difficulties to promote independence and aid with fulfilling life skills and house tasks in addition to helping engage within their local community. Depending on the service, you maybe working alongside or 1:1 with permanent staff to help deliver support to several individuals and deliver the highest standard of support.
We require someone with strong communication skills as some of the individuals supported may use non-verbal communication. You will be aiding to promote independence, aiding to develop life skills and encouraging individuals to get involved with a rangeof activities.
Additionally, we work with a variety of companies through different settings including supporting adults with learning disabilities, children and young people, individuals living in hostel or at risk of homelessness, adults with mental health needs and elderlyindividuals and more

**_To work with us, you will need:_**
- Ideally 6 months paid UK care experience in the last year or a year in the last 5 years
- Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
- Right to work in the UK (please note, we do not offer sponsorship)
- To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
- Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
