**CareerMakers Recruitment** is currently looking for "Stock Controller" for one of our clients in the SK10, Macclesfield area.

We have immediate starts available.

**Stock Controller Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems.
- Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.
- Analysing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
- Ensuring regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters, so minimum stocks are re-ordered in a timely manner.
- Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
- Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labelling within allocated spaces.
- Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.
- Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
- Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock (easy to count and located into pick area) liaise with Warehouse team on presentation and preparation to ensure accurate counting
- Collaborate with production team to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality.
- Liaise with the maintenance of the Warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock, in discussion with the Warehouse team and management.
- Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget.
- Carry out stock management operations in line with set product/retail policies and procedures.
- Utilise Sage software program in maintaining record of store execution performance.

**Stock Controller Requirements**:

- A minimum of two years' experience as a stock controller in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Extensive experience in supply chain data analysis.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superb negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Macclesfield, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
