Knight Engineering Solutions Ltd is pleased to be recruiting for a full time CNC Machinist to join our small, friendly team based near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

The main duties of the role include:

- Manufacture parts and test tools for Knight Engineering Solutions and their clients to the required tolerances or any other expectations.
- Ensure required preventative maintenance is performed on machine tools as per maintenance schedules.
- Ensure machine tools are left clean and swarf free at the end of each working day.
- Accurately and consistently machine items on company machine tools to drawings provided.
- Complete paperwork related to machining jobs to required standard.
- General workshop responsibilities including housekeeping.
- Have experience programming in Mazatrol.
- Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of health and safety within the workshop as well as in general.
- Maintain good communication with colleagues and clients where required.
- Behave in a professional manner.
- Be flexible and willing to assist in other areas of the business when required.
- Have a good level of spoken and written English.

All levels of experience will be considered, more important is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

This role will be based on site at our premises near Inverurie. Due to our remote location own transportation would be beneficial. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00. Benefits include 30 days annual leave per annum, free on-site parking and company pension scheme.

Salary in the range of £16-£19 per hour, dependent on experience.

Knight Engineering Solutions Ltd is a family-owned business established in 2019 and based near Inverurie. We specialise in prototype design, development, and parts manufacture, predominantly for the oil and gas sector. We also have a number of testing facilities within our 6,000 sq. ft workshop and 5 acres of outdoor area, including a test well flow loop and hyperbaric chamber.
