**Lead Buyer - Packaged Gas & Products Ops / Projects**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- In this role, you will maximize supplier savings (repeatable and cash flow)
- You will manage all aspects of key supplier relationships
- You will support the business ensuring goods and services delivered at the right quality, price and delivery, safely
- In addition, you will understand all aspects of the Supplier Market outlook and price development, identifying new products and new suppliers as necessary
- You will also facilitate access to supplier innovation and product development

**What makes you great**
- You will be educated to degree level preferred or A level with significant relevant experience
- In addition, you have CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualifications or are working towards this, not essential but is an advantage
- Previous experience in category management
- You have high levels of self-motivation, autonomy, energy, tenacity and a strong drive for results
- You have an understanding of the business, ideally with a knowledge the nature of the products/services within the portfolio
- Furthermore, you have experience in influencing change successfully where it impacts in others area of control
- You have knowledge of what make a good contract and ideally contract drafting
